The US shot down an octagonal UFO over Lake Huron

The US military on February 12 shot down an octagonal object flying over Lake Huron near the US border, Reuters quoted officials. This is the fourth object shot down in North America this month.

Two anonymous officials told Reuters that the US military shot down the octagonal object. They refused to confirm whether the object was similar to the Chinese airship that was shot down earlier.

One official said the most recently shot down object had an octagonal structure and it was unclear whether it was carrying other equipment or not.

Reuters quoted the Pentagon as saying this object likely moved near sensitive US military locations.

“We do not assess it as a military threat that can cause material damage to people and objects on the ground. However, (we) recognize that this object poses a risk to aviation safety and is a threatening considering the possibility that it could carry surveillance tools. We are currently working to recover this object to learn more,” said a statement from the US Department of Defense.

The octagonal object was recently discovered above Montana, causing it to close its airspace, the official said. It was shot down by a Sidewinder missile at an altitude of 6,100 m – an altitude that can disrupt air routes.

According to the New York Times, the Pentagon dispatched F-16 fighters to shoot down the octagonal object.

US officials said President Joe Biden ordered this UFO to be shot down. Officials first discovered the object on February 11 and then radar again picked it up as it hovered over the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and passed over Lake Huron.

The incident on February 12 marked the fourth unidentified flying object shot down over North America this month.

The first object was a balloon that was shot down off the coast of South Carolina on February 4. Washington accused this of being a Chinese reconnaissance balloon, but Beijing denied it, asserting that this was just a civilian balloon flying off course.

Then, on February 10, a second object was shot down over Alaskan waters. A day later, American fighter jets, on orders from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, shot down an unidentified flying object in the sky over Canada’s Yukon region.

According to the New York Times, such airspace intrusions seem to be so common that Biden administration officials have had to speak out to ensure that there is no evidence that they are related to alien activities. .

However, they also admitted that when they cannot publicly provide an explanation about the object’s origin, rumors will continue to increase.
